RELATIONSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We want to keep this simple and straightforward, presented in as plain language as possible while acknowledging the multitude of factors to consider when working in our customers’ homes. We are sincerely grateful for your interest to work with us and our goal is to make this as smooth and satisfying a process as possible!
Estimates
Valid Period
When requested or provided, estimates are valid for 30 days from the date they are issued.
Project/Work Scope
Estimates are provided for the scope of work and accompanying assumptions described in them and in associated communications (like texts or emails). Discoveries during the course of work or customer change requests can affect the scope, which might also change the total cost of the estimate, which will be communicated as soon as possible.
Acceptance
Accepting an estimate establishes a contract for work to be performed. Cancelations or changes after acceptance could result in fees. Your acceptance might be communicated to us through our work management system, text messaging, in email, or via a phone call.
Schedule
Performing the work often requires multiple visits to your site and those will be coordinated with your schedule. The proposed start date identified on the quote or estimate is the best, current estimate and can change depending on project approval time. Completing your project is our priority once it is started. We don’t like living in construction zones and don’t want you to either, for any longer than is required to tackle the project scope. Extenuating circumstances do occur, ranging from staff illnesses or family needs to other customers with urgent issues like leaks, and if we encounter something unplanned, we will work with you to minimize interruptions.
Waste Disposal
Small amounts of project waste might be disposed in our customer’s trash bin. Larger amounts of project debris might require separate disposal fees and will be noted on the estimate.
Payment
Deposits might be required for large purchases and will be noted with the estimate. Payment is due upon completion or invoicing, payable by any of the payment methods shown on the invoice. Some payment methods, like credit card and some other online financial systems, might add a processing fee. Unpaid, aging invoices might accrue interest or other charges if not paid within 1 week.
Pictures
We often take pictures of our project work, for purposes ranging from documenting the project result to scenes captured for historical and remote reference. Sometimes we will use these pictures for marketing-related purposes by posting to a website or social media or use them in an estimate for another customer. If we share pictures, we respect your home and your privacy and will do our best to exclude (e.g. crop, blur, redact) any personally-identifiable information in the frame.
Communications
We communicate with our customers and potential customers in a few ways. We will call or text to arrange estimate visits or project work performance. We send appointment notices, invoices, and receipts and reminders related to them through email, and/or text, and/or phone call. Infrequent marketing communications, newsletter, and/or customer surveys might be sent through email. You are welcome to notify us via email or phone call if you want to change your communication preferences.
